Coach Bill Tierney, considered to be one of the greatest college lacrosse coaches of all time, has won six Division I National Championships at Princeton University, since he began coaching there in 1988. His son, Trevor Tierney, was part of two of these National Championships in 1998 and 2001. Trevor then went on to become the only goalie ever to win at least one National Championship, one MLL championship, and one ILF World Championship. After all of these years working towards success in the same sport, the two remain best friends. In this DVD, they share with fathers and sons everywhere some of the secrets to their success both on and off the field. In Tierney Lacrosse, Father and Son Lacrosse, Coach T and his son Trevor will take you through some of the drills that they used to play together in their own backyard. While the drills will take you through many of the essential skills necessary for becoming a great lacrosse player, the Tierneys will also show you the importance of keeping things light and having fun together. As Coach T and Trevor will show, they are much more proud of the friendship that they have built together than any championship ring or award that they have won. |
