The RFLX Mission: to deliver the highest quality instruction for martial arts, self defense and personal self development. The ultimate goal of our programs is to enable the individual to develop positive and effective mental and physical reflexes to meet and conquer the challenges he or she may encounter along the path of self discovery. We believe that martial arts training is a powerful tool for personal transcendence and success in all areas of life.
RFLX Positive Reflex Training
Our unique training systems are designed for you to develop positive, effective and powerful mental and physical reflexive responses. There is an adage that training is specific, which refers to the fact that the way you train is how you will react under pressure. When you train for one set of rules, possibilities or situations, by default, you are not training for others. This is a core concept for all of our programs.
Physical Reflexes
Through intelligently designed technique sets and drills, deep neural pathways are developed which allow the student to respond to a stimulus without thinking. Repetitive movement sequences, practiced with conscious awareness and focus, develops insulation around the nerve fibers within the muscles which connect to neurons in the brain. These myelin sheaths are responsible for increasing the speed at which a signal can travel from the brain to a muscle group and create a body movement.
Our programs are designed to minimize the time it takes for you to react and maximize the effectiveness of your movement under stress in a live situation.
Mental Reflexes
The way you habitually think is how you experience your environment and is directly related to your success in all areas of your life. Learning to identify your habitual thought patterns is an important step to becoming more skilled and competent in your field, whether you are an aspiring MMA fighter, law enforcement officer or middle school student. Through RFLX Mental Training you can learn to train your Thought Reflexes the same way you develop your physical skills.
